'Rún II'
'Rún II'
Original Monotype Print, Acrylic on Recycled Cartridge Paper.
Mounted in a 12.5 x 12.5 black wooden frame with black round mount.
"Rún 2" is the second piece in a series of four prints inspired by foraged botanicals and natural materials from the local landscape. Drawing from the Old Norse word rún, meaning "secret," this work continues the exploration of nature’s hidden mysteries. Through delicate, intricate details, "Rún 2" invites the viewer to slow down and reflect on the subtle stories nature quietly reveals. Each print in the series is designed to evoke contemplation, shining a light on the beauty and wisdom woven into the natural world, often unnoticed yet ever-present.
